CHILD MENTAL HEALTH, HOW TEACHERS CAN HELP

As we know, early identification of symptoms of mental illness can lead to a child receiving effective treatment and support. The earlier these symptoms are identified, the better. While some children and teens may ask for help, many do not. This can mean it is up to those adults closest to them to recognize the warning signs. Once such group of adults is teachers.

Check out this interesting article about a program helping teachers, and other school officials, learn how to identify the warning signs of mental illness.
